Chapter 21
Brogan and I caught the 6am flight from Halifax to Laguardia. The court date wasn’t set yet, but I knew it was just a matter of time. I also knew it was going to be a shit show, high publicity, circus. I wanted to leave Brogan with Ione. Safe. But I wanted the courts to see the sweet, little boy involved in this. Funny thing is, he never said anything about wanting to see his father. Dempsey must know we’re back in New York. I just hope he doesn’t figure out where we’re going.
This is a continuation of an experiment. Each week there is a 100 word short story photo prompt challenge posed by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields. My challenge to myself is to connect these photos into one seamless story. Click the blue frog to read other stories inspired by this photo.

You realize you have to deliver a dynamite ending now. 😉

I know. I think I know how I want to end it, I just need to get it there. This week’s photo was the perfect link to get her back to NY. Last weeks photo was WAY off. I could have used it but it took more effort than I cared to put into and it wouldn’t have furthered the story any. I love that I always know you’ll be the first to read, like and comment : ) Thanks!

You’re welcome. Maybe it shows I am slightly obsessive, but I do really enjoy this project. 🙂

I had to trackback all the way to 14! Didn’t realise I have missed a lot of the development. The story is going to the dark side it seems. Chapter 20’s photo though…that’s like a a spanner to what you’ve been writing and I can imagine it’s hard to fit it. But hey! You did it. 😊 Guess I’m waiting for the court debacle and expecting some sort of a sick twist! 😜

If I get the right photos they may never make it court 😉

Thanks! It’s been quite a challenge to get them connected. What’s fun is knowing where you want the story to go but having no idea how it will get there.
