Sunday Share: Monday Edition: Week 18, The Z’s

The A to Z Challenge has come to an end until next year when we decide to take on this task yet again. It was fun, as always. This year I didn’t miss a single letter. Though, a few posts just barely made it in under the wire. I’ll let you know how the month went tomorrow. Tonight, I’d like to share one more time, some others who also finished up the challenge spectacularly.

Sunday Share: Week 17: S Days

17 weeks seems such a small amount of time. Especially when you compare it to the 35 weeks we have left until Christmas. However, this time next week will be the last day of April. Mother Nature, being the fickle beast she is, decided to give us 2 inches of snow last night. It looks more like Christmas a week after Easter than it did on Christmas! Go home Mother Nature, you’re drunk.

I found some of these by searching the tag #atozchallenge in my reader. I found some new blogs to follow. Hope you do to!

Sunday Share: Week 15

Hang in there Lent folks, this is your last week of abstinence.

Warm weather is upon us. The sun is shining and the winds are calm. Friday’s rain made the snow go all gone. The boys want to go out to play, but mean old dad is making them clean/tidy up their rooms in order to gather up all their dirty laundry so that I can wash. They mooed about it, but I gave them the option of playing outside or wearing dirty clothes to school. Smart boys chose to gather laundry and tidy their room first. Mark one in the win column for dad!

Sunday Share: Week 14

Because I forgot to change the date and time of yesterday’s post, it was published 8 days ago. I thought I’d share it (aka shameless plug) because I thought it was pretty funny. I wrote about frog babies, nerves, seeds, and testicles.

Yesterday was the first day of the A to Z blogging challenge. Today is a day of rest. We’ll pick up with “B” tomorrow. Our local weather forecaster (that’s a link to his video) has predicted 30 cm (12 inches) for Wednesday. WTF? Go home Old Man Winter, you’re drunk.

Sunday Share: The Monday Edition

So I didn’t do a Sunday Share yesterday. I did laundry instead.

Today is the first day of spring! We celebrated by shovelling 8 inches of snow out of the driveway. The wet and heavy kind.

Our road trip went well. We accomplished the three things we set out to do – Discovery Centre, visit the boys cousins, and Hope for Wildlife. The Discovery Centre was overcrowded as was March Break and every kid in Nova Scotia was out of school. Visiting DW’s brother and sister-in-law was great. Hope for Wildlife was as uncrowded as the Discovery Centre was crowded. We are planning a trip back this summer when the weather is warmer. I made a vlog style video documenting the trip. I’m currently working on uploading it, but it’s moving as slow as a toddler up the stairs. It’s uploaded! Please check it out. It’s lots of fun!

Sunday Share Week 11

Good Morning, Sunday! I hope everyone had a good night’s sleep. Good luck catching that lost hour for those of you who turned your clocks ahead. Crash was up at 6:30 (really 5:30 before the clocks the changed). Bang was up at 7 (really 6 before the time change). Fortunately, this is our March Break so we don’t have school all week. Lots of time for them to get caught up. Or be so tired and cranky that I’ll fear for their survival.

Have a great day!

Sunday Share Week 10

Welcome to week 10. Week 9 was supposed to be lucky because 9 is a lucky number in this house. It was and and it wasn’t. My new GoPro arrived in the mail a month after I sent my broken one back to them. So be on the look out for some fun YouTube videos. Then yesterday we went to file our taxes only to find out we owe. WTH? We don’t owe much, just enough to be annoying.

On a more positive note, I’m not sure if you’ve heard of this “new” show called Little Big Shots. I say new, but it’s second season just premiered tonight. What a fantastic, family friendly show. If you haven’t seen it, Steve Harvey interviews kids who are either smart, funny, or talented and they never fail to disappoint. I made sure to record it as the boys love to watch it, too. I can’t wait to see their reaction to the 6 year old basketball player.

Hope all y’all have a spectacular week! Here’s what I liked reading last week…

Sunday Share Week 6

Wow. What a response! Thanks to all those who replied to the Sunday Share post I posted on Thursday. Normally on Sundays I share posts from bloggers I follow or blogs I have read and thought you should, too. This time I asked you to share with me so I could share it with others. I usually share five. Today you get 14! It’s kind of like a meet and greet, except you don’t have to do anything but mingle. Go check out some of these posts and I guarantee you’ll find some new follows. We all win!

Sunday Share Week 5

Well, there goes January. Only eleven more months to Christmas!

I know January isn’t officially over, but it’ll be February the next time I write a Sunday Share. I shared a bunch of blogs yesterday in my Mystery Blogger post. They were a bunch of my favorites. Today, I will share some of the newer ones I have discovered. Maybe you’ll find some new ones to follow here, too!

Sunday Share Week 4

Some bug has infected our house so you might want to read this from a safe distance. Definitely wash your hands with soap and hot water afterwards. Bang caught it last Thursday. Crash caught it last night. I’m not feeling so hot myself. With the exception of DW and Bang going grocery shopping it’s been a pretty quiet day around here.  But you didn’t come here for that. Or at least I hope you didn’t. You came to find some good reads. So what did I find for you this fourth week of January?
