My last Month in Review was just 10 days ago as I was late in getting to it in February. Now we’re into the third month of the year. I’m not exactly sure if March has come in like a lion or lamb. Perhaps a gentle lion? Or maybe an aggressive lamb? We’ve had clouds and rain for the first two days of March, but it’s been 9 C. Nova Scotia’s groundhog, Shubenacadie Sam, saw his shadow and therefore predicts an early spring. Regardless of shadows, spring will officially be here on the 20th. Incidentally, that’s the day before my parent’s 900th 42nd wedding anniversary.
Anyway, last month was a rough month in the beginning and it pretty much threw the rest of the month for a loop and barrel roll. If my blog were a soapbox car in a soapbox derby, my stats would be the perfect downhill.
February saw 19 posts. This is down from 24 the month prior.
Since there were fewer posts and I was reading fewer blogs, I received 1,263 views for the month. This is down 62 from January. I hope to turn this around in March and get those numbers climbing again. Last April saw 2,000+ views per month. It would be nice to be there again.
There were 565 visitors which is down 30. I’m as grateful for those 565 that I am for the 595 because they are the ones who came for a read and stayed for a Coke and a chat.
391 people were inspired enough to click that star – the like button. I like that, even though it is exactly 100 fewer likes than January.
My favorite stat to look at though (besides views, of course) are the comments. This is what brings me back to blogging. I could have a million views a day, but they would be meaningless if there were zero comments. Thanks to the 330 of you who were so kind, so moved, and so inspired to leave a comment in February. This is only 12 fewer than January. Not bad considering I had 5 fewer posts. I wonder who left the most comments?
February’s most popular post was Get to Know Me Tag with 77 views. In this post I made up some fun questions and directions then tagged some blogging friends. I’m not sure if it’s still going or not, but it was fun to see it pop up. In a close second was Sunday Share 6.This is one of my favorite recurring posts to do. Here I give a shout out to some bloggers and a post I enjoyed reading. It’s a fun to network as what goes around comes around.
33 countries came to visit. This is down 8 countries. The top three were the US, the UK, and Canada. The Netherlands and Australia were knocked down to fourth and fifth!
When I wrote my last Month in Review 10 days ago I had 777 followers. Since then I’ve gained 10 followers bringing it up a total 787. That’s a follower a day! My latest three followers are Happily Tanned, Glesgadelic, and Miss Mummy Life. I’m well on my way to 1,000. Will you be next?

There were some interesting search terms that lead people to my blog. I’m not sure they found what they were looking for, but they came anyway.
- data entry work from home
- pounding the pea
- can i crash and bang your mom
- toe tapping tuesday
- traveling with kids
Lastly, my favorite the bloggers who have commented the most. There are some new faces this month. Welcome to this elite group! Thanks to all those who commented. Your discussion and stories and comments are an inspiration that, like the crayon on the wall, does not go unnoticed.

HA! Good luck! And no worries… It’s not entirely your fault. I didn’t give much to comment on last month. 🙂

There are so many good ones in my “too read” list and there’s NO WAY I can get to them. I would love a few days to do nothing but read them 🙂

Our TV schedule isn’t the only thing he’s screwing up, but that’s for a post of it’s own 🙂

I’ve only been reading a few here and there. I can’t keep up either. The kids are home from school on break this week so I’ll get even farther behind! God bless those search terms.
