Happy Birthday USA! You may be 240 today, but someone else turns 9!
We celebrated Crash’s day of eviction notice from the womb on July 2nd. He put up one hell of a fight. It wouldn’t be until 3:27 on the morning of July 4th that he joined us outside the womb. Now he’s nine. He’ll be starting 4th grade school in September! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again,
Nothing shows you how fast time truly passes like watching your children grow.
Today’s post will be a time capsule of sorts. Just as I did for Bang 17 days ago. I’ll capture his favorites to save for later. Girlfriends. Graduation. Wedding. You know, those important dates when he’ll need some embarrassment.

Here is his door tonight. I can’t wait to see his reaction in the morning. Like I said when I did Bang’s door, I wasn’t going to hold back when I did Crash’s. Fortunately, he didn’t mind that it’s Christmas wrapping paper.
Hahaha! You wrapped/plastered his door with a wrapper? oh my! LOL
Happy, happy Birthday Crash. May your wish to be a race car driver comes true (although I’m not sure your parents would like it very much you going at super high speed! :p)

I’ll only allow him to race cars if he takes me, too! His mom would be the nervous one 🙂 I did paster his door. He saw nothing but wrapping paper when he opened his door. He loved smashing through it. Totally worth the 10 minutes it took to hang.

I can imagine how his mother would be nervous with her precious boys in race car. I love that idea of wrapping the door. I think I’m going to steal it! Spud’s up for a birthday next month! 😉

I read this a few days late, but, as it’s my daughter’s twelfth today, it seems fitting.I hope Crash’s wildest dreams come true, and more.
Pizza is going to be on our menu today, too. =D

Happy 12th to your daughter! Your last year before she’s officially a teenager. Hope she gets everything she wants! 😀

Well, she got her kitten a few weeks back. They’re best buddies. She picked an Undertale T-shirt, some make-up, and jewelry, and we OKed the purchases. Her big brother got her a new set of headphones which she loves, and I found a spa set she’s been wanting. She and I are having a girls’ day tomorrow, and her Dad, the chef, is bringing her home a slice of Key Lime pie, because it’s her favorite.
We don’t exactly do traditional birthdays around here. =D
And I’m not in a rush to get through this year, but I know having two teens is going to be amazing.
This year, she gets to go to the pool at the Y without an adult chaperone, and she can legally ride in the front seat of the car – two things she’s been very eager for! =D

That’s hilarious! Two things that make her feel a bit more like an adult… no chaperones and she can finally call “shotgun!” Keylime pie is delicious! I can’t blame her for that one. Sounds like she did alright for her birthday 😀
