If you remember from last year, I wrote about this place already. Except last year was mid-April. We were on H in the A-Z Challenge because H was for hotel (it was also for Hyper). If you missed it or forget what happened last year, you can read it here. It was slightly embarrassing.
We weren’t able to get checked in until 3 today, but DW’s conference started at 11. This left the boys and I up to no good for 4 hours. We hit up Wal-Mart for a few forgotten items (my bathing suit being one). Then the mall. Then the park. Finally, we’re in our room and the boys are aching to jump in the pool, but we’re going to have some supper first.
Anywho, on the questions. We both know it’s what you came here for.
What makes you happy?
Crash: When you tickle me
Bang: Jumping on the tramperline (that’s how he says it)
What makes you sad?
Crash: When I get hurt
Bang: Hugs
What would you like to do tomorrow?
Crash: Go swimming, go for a walk so I can 11,000 steps, play tablet and hang out in the hotel
Bang: Go swimming

Crash: The Gaming Show (In My Parent’s Garage)

Crash: Only $10

Crash: Everything! Being mean to my brother

Crash: Being an engineer
Bang: Cleaning

Crash: Staying at the hotel
Bang: Swimming (I’m sensing a theme here)
What’s the best part of staying in a hotel?
Crash: Swimming and the restaurant in the hotel
Bang: Going swimming and going on the elevator

Funny that Bang said he likes cleaning – he’s making up for all the cleaning Crash didn’t like to do. 😉

Yep. It’s the eve of the challenge so it’s kind of like a throw back since we’re in the same hotel as last year 🙂 I found it fuunny that he said cleaning. He usually screams at me that he hates cleaning (after watching big brother put up a fight)

I found it funny that he said cleaning, too…but the idea that hugs make him sad makes me wonder what the reasoning behind that was! 😛

Bang is not a hugger. He’ll snuggle for a few seconds. But to actually get a hug is a rare occurrence. However, his big brother loves hugs so that creates a war sometimes.

I love “tramperline”! When my son was that age he called a calculator a “count-you-later”. Sometimes we still call it that just for fun. 😊 Enjoy your time. I hope you don’t all end up water logged!

HA HA A count you later! That’s great! We’re done in the pool. It’s not as nice as it was last year. Too much chlorine and colder. Plus with the boys fighting colds and an ear infection I think it’s wisest if we stayed out.

Don’t I wish. I have no idea why he said cleaning is best job. He’s starting to adopt his big brother’s attitude towards cleaning. He doesn’t like it. Guess he just said the first thing that came to mind.

Where was the conference? (I’m not up on Canadian geography or culture, so I’m just curious.)

We’re currently in Truro Nova Scotia. About a 45 minute drive from Halifax.

If this were true I’d be renting him out 🙂 Cleaning isn’t really the “best job” for him. Though, if his big brother isn’t around he’s usually pretty good to help.
